Notes: Part II in the Addams Family Series, becauseladygray99 demanded more. ^__^ I'm happy to oblige.
"Why are you here?" The small girl, not more than six probably, is surprisingly adept at tying knots. She has bound Mozzie to the chair, and he is sure that it's impossible to get out from under the rope that ties him to it.
She purses her lips and scrunches her nose in what Mozzie thinks is supposed to be a frown, but isn't, not really. Her face is too young for that.
Mozzie knows that he won't get what he wants if he doesn't get it for himself, and so he decides to just tell them the truth. It will be better if it's out in the open, he hopes. "I'm searching for a family." He whispers his answer, but they still catch his words.
The man with the mustache and the perpetually smoking cigar in his mouth laughs, a loud booming laugh that makes Mozzie tingle inside. He likes making people laugh, as long as it's nice and not to make fun of him. Laughing means being contend, and that's something he hasn't been all too often in his life, therefore he's learned to appreciate even the faintest bit of laughter.
"Well, lad," with every word a circle of smoke leaves the mans mouth. It's fascinating to watch, Mozzie thinks he could do it all day.
"You have found a family. We-" he makes a grand all encompassing gesture, "are the Addams Family. Or a small, small part of it, really."
Mozzie's eyes go round at the thought of even more strange family members, and the yearning in him grows stronger, just a bit. But he get's the feeling they haven't understood why he's here.
Determined to get his point across, he looks mustache guy square in the eye.
"You don't understand, I'm searching a family for me."
