Notes: This time I bring you two drabbles for the prompt #006: File. Without pr0n!
That is either terrible or not, you decide. I appreciate Feedback a lot.
Neal is quite alright with the fact that no one knows how the FBI had caught him the first time. His peers in the world of art theft and adultery would surely lose their respect in him, if they knew what banal and incredibly stupid thing had landed him in prison, and that was the reason that he’d jumped at the chance to give some of his heists up, so that the truth wouldn’t be revealed.
That might have helped Neal Caffrey’s reputation, but still, until now, he rues the fateful day that Mozzy had introduced him to file sharing.
There is a file in the cake. Neal can’t quite wrap his head around that; he sits at the Burke living room table, eating the cake that Peter bought for Neal’s birthday and finds a file in his piece, covered by cream. That isn’t even remotely funny. He frowns, “You have got to be kidding me, Peter.”
Peter, though, isn’t kidding at all. “I thought we’d practice for the next time you end up behind bars, you know, being the criminal master mind that you are.” He grins, looking satisfied with himself like the proverbial cat that got the cream.
